Today the poetry I heard took me back . When I was young in Salinas High we studied lyrics of Judy Collins and Bob Dylan. I use to express myself in poetry to escape the reality of life. I did not like school or life at that time, but poetry gave me a place that I could go and feel free. A place my family could not go. It was really cool. Today I love to also go to the Blues Festival in Monterey.
